作为“两岸城市艺术节——城市文化互访系列(台北周)”活动的重要项目,“台湾美术发展1950—2000”大型展览于2006年9月16日在中国美术馆拉开帷幕,10月10日结束。展览较为全面地层示了台湾美术半个世纪的发展历程。此展由中华文化联谊会和中国美术馆主办,同时在台北市立美术馆的积极筹备组织下,在台北市文化局和财团法人沈春池文教基金会的鼎力支持下而得以成行。本此活动自2006年春天开始酝酿,在金秋时节结出果实,可谓春华秋实,水到渠成。
