早就听说了战斗英雄卫小堂的大名,却没想到他与笔者生活在同一个大院里。三月初,踏着满地的新芽,在集团军干休所一座普通的小楼里,我们拜访了生活中真实的老英雄。卫小堂一生参加数百次战斗,几乎每战均立奇功,创造了无数的战场“神话”。曾经参加过1950年、1987年两次全军英模代表大会,受到毛主席、周恩来、邓小平等国家领导人的接见。他先后担任过“红军团”副团长、师副参谋长、副师长、军副参谋长。1982年,按副军职待遇离职休养,如今在山城重庆颐养天年。
Already heard of the fighting hero Wei Xiaotong name, but did not think he and I live in the same compound. In early March, marching through the sprouts of new land, we visited the real old hero in our life in an ordinary small building in the Army Corps. Wei Xiaotang participated in hundreds of battles throughout his life, winning almost every battle and creating numerous “myths” of the battlefield. He had participated in the 1950’s and 1982’s British Molds Congress and was interviewed by the leaders of Chairman Mao, Zhou Enlai and Deng Xiaoping. He has served as the “Red Army” deputy head, deputy chief of staff, deputy commander, deputy military chief of staff. In 1982, according to the deputy military career resignation and rest, now enjoying a fortune in the mountain city of Chongqing.
