音乐欣赏是国内各类大专院校普遍开设的音乐基础课程。尽管专业院校和普通院校存在不同层次的教学对象,学制和教学大纲也有很大差异,但在教学观念及相应的教学形式上却存在诸多相同的问题。据笔者目前所了解的情况,国内各类大专院校音乐欣赏的教学一般以音乐作品为中心,教学内容一般侧重对18、19世纪西方艺术音乐作品的全面介绍,教学形式分理论宣讲和作品欣赏两部分。理论宣讲一般包括作品的文化背景概述、作曲家介绍、作品结构和风格分析等方面,作品欣赏以磁带、CD的聆听方式为主,教学设备较好的院校亦采用
