上世纪大陆接触到的许多洋东西都由香港舶来。这很像19世纪的俄罗斯与德国,那时西欧“先进文化”向俄罗斯传播,要经德国这个中间站。读《战争与和平》,里面的主人公随时飙法语,可这本书的作者却是德国佬后裔,就连托尔斯泰这个俄语姓,也直接译自德语“Dick”一词,意思都是粗的、厚的、肥的,大致相当于英语的thick,这一点,托翁自传里说得明白。当然,德国与俄罗斯是两个国家,香港与大陆都是中国的一部分,必须说清楚。
