扩大党内民主,是新一届地方党代会最为引人注目的亮点。据《21世纪经济报道》11月25日报道,在11月中旬闭幕的江苏省第十一届党代会上,8名县委书记当选省委候补委员,1名市委书记(县级)当选省委委员。县委书记进入省委委员和候补委员的序列,在江苏乃至全国都开了先河。此次江苏省第十一届党代会产生的85名省委委员和13名省委常委,都是差额选举的结果。
The expansion of inner-party democracy is the highlight of the new generation of local party congresses. According to “21st Century Business Herald” reported on November 25, at the 11th Party Congress of Jiangsu Province, which was closed in mid-November, 8 county party secretaries were elected alternate members of the provincial party committee and 1 county party secretary (county level) Commissioners. The sequence of the county party secretary into the provincial party committee and alternate member has opened the precedent in Jiangsu and the whole country. The 85 Provincial Party Committee members and 13 Provincial Party Standing Committee members from the 11th Party Congress of Jiangsu Province were the result of the short election.
