Objective To investigate the proliferative activity of acute leukemia cells and its role in the prognosis of leukemia. Methods The expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) in acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and acute nonlymphocytic leukemia (ANLL) was detected by monoclonal antibody immunocytochemical staining.
