意大利大理石资源十分丰富。随着科学技术的发展,意大利大理石工业在开采、加工技术方面巳跃居世界首位。数控、激光等先进科学技术已在加工工艺中得到应用。意大利除大量开采本国矿山外,还从其他国家进口大理石荒料,加工后再出口。它已逐渐成为世界大理石交易所。意大利每年在卡腊腊和维罗那举办两次国际性博览会。我曾随北京市建材工业总公司石材考察团,出席了在维罗那市郊举办的1983年“第21届大理石机械国际博览会”,并进行了参观访问。
Italian marble resources are very rich. With the development of science and technology, the Italian marble industry ranks first in the world in mining and processing technology. Advanced science and technology such as numerical control and laser have been applied in the processing technology. Italy not only mines its own mines in large quantities, but also imports marble blocks from other countries for export before processing. It has gradually become the world marble exchange. Italy organizes two international fairs annually in Carra and Verona. I once attended the 21st International Exhibition of Marble Machinery in 1983 in the outskirts of Verona with a stone inspection delegation of the Beijing Municipal Building Materials Industry Corporation.
