国际科技会议文集(Proceedings),亦称会议录或论文集。在西文编目工作中,常会遇到一些较难处理的问题。比如“一本会议录,书名上标明了两个主办会议的机构名称,又标有编辑人,还写明了会议讨论的主题;究竟应选择那一个项目作为著录的主要款目?”“一批小册子是一个学术机构的出版物,既有连续号,每本又有不同的书名、著者,如阿著录才能全面反映这批图书的主题内容……”;又如“联合国出版物,书名页、版权页上标有许多代号、数码、它们的作用是什幺?要不要在著录中反映?如何反映……?”类似这些问题,经常出现在编目工作中。往往在著录上有了解决的办法,但在分类上、目录组织中却又产生了困难。这次解决了,下次义遇见了新的情况,难以处理,日积月累,许多问题积累下来,由于解决不妥,造成目录组织的混乱,影响为读者服务,鉴于上述种种问题我们采取以下的解决办法。

Often in the record on the solution, but in the classification, directory organization has produced difficulties. This time the problem was solved, the next time Yijia met the new situation and was hard to handle. Over time, many problems accumulated. Due to improper solutions, the chaos in the directory organization and the service to the readers were affected. In view of the above problems, we adopted the following solutions .
