The occurrence of lung cancer includes gene mutation, blocked apoptosis, uncontrolled proliferation, invasion and metastasis, angiogenesis and a series of processes. Epidermal cells to mesenchymal cells is an important process of carcinogenesis, it occurs due to the body’s deregulated inflammatory response, resulting in weakening of cellular immunity and the occurrence of malignant tumors. Based on the existence of immunosuppressive tumor cells, how to improve the body’s immune response has become our research focus. Cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) and its downstream signal transduction may become a chemopreventive and therapeutic approach to lung cancer. A large number of clinical trials are underway for the COX-2 inhibitors as an adjuvant chemotherapy for lung cancer patients and for preventing the occurrence of bronchial lung cancer. With the understanding of the molecular mechanisms of inflammation and lung cancer, we have discovered new drugs to reverse or prevent mutations and provide a direction for chemical prevention and treatment of lung cancer.
