10月11日,“第三届中国残疾人事业好新闻奖”颁奖大会在北京隆重举行。会上,江苏省《镇江日报》采写的《送温暖、献爱心,帮助病残弃儿回归社会》系列报道荣获报刊类一等奖。国务委员彭佩云亲手将金光闪闪的奖牌授予《镇江日报》。在随后举行的交流座谈会上,中残联一位负责人指出:“如果全国各个城市都像镇江那样,我国的残疾人事业将会得到迅速发展。
On October 11, the “Award Ceremony of the Third China Good News Award for Disabled Persons” was held in Beijing. At the meeting, a series of articles entitled “Delivering Warmth, Offering Love to Help Sick Children Return to Society” by Jiangsu Zhenjiang Daily won the first prize in newspapers and periodicals. State Councilor Peng Peiyun personally awarded the golden medal to “Zhenjiang Daily.” In a subsequent exchange forum, a person in charge of the CDPF pointed out: “If all the cities in the country are like Zhenjiang, the cause of the disabled in China will be rapidly developing.”
