简单网络管理协议(SNMP)是一个通用的网络管理协议。文中利用 SNMP 结合 Internet 控制消息协议(ICMP)研究设计了一个面向 TCP/IP 网络的网络管理系统，分析了系统基于浏览器/服务器(B/S)模式的多层体系结构，研究了拓扑发现、性能监测、状态监视、陷阱(trap)接收、告警处理等关键技术。所实现的 IP 网络管理系统结构合理、功能丰富，能够帮助用户对 IP 网络进行有效的监视和管理。
Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) is a common network management protocol. In this paper, we design a network management system for TCP / IP network by using the Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP) combined with SNMP and analyze the multi-layer architecture of the system based on browser / server (B / S) mode. Performance monitoring, status monitoring, trap reception, alarm handling and other key technologies. The achieved IP network management system has a reasonable structure and abundant functions, and can help users to effectively monitor and manage IP networks.
