2012年11月1日,湖北省委常委、常务副省长王晓东,省委常委、宜昌市委书记黄楚平,副省长郭有明、许克振率省发改、财政、交通、住建、民宗等省直单位和对口支援单位深入到五峰土家族自治县,就县城地质灾害治理及避险搬迁重建工作进行专题办公。会议确定,未来三年,省国土、财政、发改三部门将提供过三亿元的资金用于支持五峰土家族自治县县城地质灾害治理及避险搬迁重建工作,交通、扶贫办、民宗等部门将继续加大力度支持该县发展。
