During his early career as a professor at Shanghai University, Qu Qiubai explored some of the nation’s fundamental issues in a Marxist standpoint and formed his own unique national theory. His Marxist concept of nation has far-reaching theoretical and practical significance for the CPC’s united front theory and the formulation of national policies.
