In the current junior high school English textbooks, there are many articles that are highly ideological and inspiring. Such as: “Nathan Hale”, praised the heroes of the secondary school teacher Nathan Hale who dedicated his life to the independence of the motherland during the American Revolutionary War. Deeds; “Dr Bethune” praised Dr. Bethune for helping the Chinese people resist the Japanese aggressors, serving the wounded and wounded people of the Eighth Route Army wholeheartedly at the front of the Anti-Japanese War, and the great international spirit of the heroic devotion. Such articles are too numerous to mention. To teach these articles, we should seize the theme of the article, both for language teaching and ideological education for teaching.
