以潍县青、心里美、鲁萝卜1号、鲁萝卜4号为试材,研究了影响生食萝卜品质和产量的诸多因素。结果表明,生食萝卜优质高产的主要栽培技术是:适期晚播(8月中旬),使营养生长期有效积温达1400℃左右;在施足有机肥的基础上,增施氮、磷、钾肥料的适宜配比为N:P:K=1.5:1:3;在萝卜开始膨大期和膨大盛期,叶面喷施0.3%硼砂溶液或0.4%氯化钙与0.3%硼砂混合溶液;肉质根膨大盛期,土壤含水量保持20%左右,均有利于萝卜产量的提高和品质的改善。
