在发展社会主义市场经济条件下,在非公有制经济成份增加,劳动关系发生深刻变化的同时,高校工会同其它行业工会一样,也应该强调突出维护职能,这有其客观必然性。1 突出维护职能是高校深化改革的内在要求所谓维护职能是指保护职工个人的权利的职责;是在保护全国人民总体利益的同时,维护职工具体利益的一种职责和权利。在当前新旧体制交替过程中,经济利益矛盾不断出现,如脑、体劳酬倒挂的矛盾;富者与穷者的矛盾;集体利益与个人利益的矛盾等等。高校也不例外,使经济利益的矛盾日趋复杂,其结果必然影

This is an objective necessity. 1. Stressing the Maintenance Function is the Inherent Requirement of Deepening the Reform in Colleges and Universities The so-called maintenance function refers to the duty of protecting the rights and interests of workers and staff members. It is a duty and right to safeguard the specific interests of workers while protecting the overall interests of the people throughout the country. In the current alternation of old and new systems, conflicts of economic interest continue to emerge, such as contradictions between the brain and the body labor; the contradiction between the rich and the poor; the contradiction between collective interests and personal interests. Colleges and universities are no exception, making the contradictions of economic interests more and more complex. The result is inevitable
