After the full-scale war of resistance began, it was gradually understood by the outside world in accordance with the real situation of the heroic courageous and civilized resistance to Japan and won moral sympathy and material assistance. On June 24, 1937, Mao Zedong sent a letter to U.S. Secretary General Bloud. “From some U.S. friends and others, we heard that the Communist Party of the United States and the American people are deeply concerned about China’s anti-Japanese struggle. This has made us feel that our struggle is by no means isolated and that we get heroic assistance from abroad. ”" Our party has strengthened its ties with the Western parties and eventually led the Canadian communists Bethune to rate the medical team to China. After careful arrangement by our party, he went to Yan’an for a visit and later went to work for the Shanxi-Chahar-Ji base for two years. Bethune’s selfless dedication to work, superb medical skills, a better working attitude and sacrifice in China have become role models for both Central Party members and the people throughout the country.
