贵州水族音乐文化自身具有丰富的表现力,主要在于其有着丰厚的民族文化积淀,但是仅仅这些是难以在现代社会中实现长久的存在,更不要说能够展现自身的价值。一个民族在自身发展的过程中,也会时常面临文化选择的过程。贵州水族音乐文化在历史的流变中保留与摒弃是自然而然的现象。有效的研究方法能明确重构必然性,使用好研究法,避免“重”材料“轻”思考,探究贵州水族音乐文化内核的“当代使用价值”。现代社会生产力、科学、科技、生产力的发展;文化思潮、价值观念和审美意识的巨变。要求贵州水族音乐文化结合当代进行重构,提升贵州水族音乐文化的“当代存在价值”。
