Polymerization of epichlorohydrin with a transition metal complex catalyst results in high molecular weight polymers. The rare earth complex catalyst has obvious effect on the ring-opening polymerization of ethylene oxide, propylene oxide and epithiopropane. In this paper, Y (acac) _3-H_2O-Al (i-Bu) _3 catalyst was selected to investigate the homopolymerization of epichlorohydrin and its copolymerization with ethylene oxide and propylene oxide.
