媒体报道:2016年4月16日下午,河南省南召县发生一起恶性事件,该县检察院、国土局、农业局三单位工作人员及家属在当地一农家乐饭店用餐饮酒后,因要求以政府名义公款签单遭拒起冲突,一个饭店员工受伤,饭店老板、县人大代表李金明被殴打倒地后身亡。目前,四个涉事人员已被当地公安部门控制,当地政府已成立联合工作组,正在对该事件进行调查,善后工作也同步进行中。
