小河沿体育场位于沈阳市大东区小河沿附近,初名奉天公众体育场,百姓俗称小河沿体育场,这是奉天城第一个正规的大型公众体育场。1920年,第九届华北运动会拟在奉天省城举办,这是奉天第一次举办大型体育赛事。为体现对赛事的重视,筹备委员会委员由奉天教育厅长谢荫昌、东三省官银号会办彭贤、外交部奉天特派交涉员关海清、奉天全省警备处长王家勋等众多奉天政要组成,张学良任此次运动会筹备处总干事。10月25日,张学良与各位筹委会委员联名提请
