陈源初于二十世纪八十年代去了美国,在那儿一呆就是三十年。艺术家曾经说过一句话:我只用过自己的眼睛。在他的一系列作品中,我们都会看到一双模糊、朦胧的眼睛,这个所谓的“他者”似乎一直在注视着什么,思考着什么,他的作品大多好像底片叠加,每幅作品都由多个场景和片段组成,复合多元主义是其的主要特点。
Chen Yuanchu went to the United States in the 1980s, where he stayed for thirty years. The artist once said something: I only used my own eyes. In his series of works, we all see a pair of vague and obscure eyes. The so-called “other” seems to have been looking at and thinking about something. Most of his works are like superposition of negatives. Each piece of work Are composed of multiple scenes and fragments, and compound pluralism is its main feature.
