在未成年大鼠,丹参能提高血中E_2含量,使子宫增重,提高卵巢内PGF_2α含量。丹参、川芎、刘寄奴均降低卵巢内PGE_2含量;刘寄奴降低子宫雌二醇受体特异结合量;丹参可促进妊马清促性腺素(PMSG)诱发的未成年小鼠排卵。在假孕大鼠,丹参、川芎、刘寄奴均降低血中孕酮含量和抑制卵巢hCG/LH受体特异结合量;刘寄奴还抑制卵巢内源性PGE_2生成以及体外培养后PGE_2的生成,但促进子宫内源性PGF_2α的生成;川芎能提高子宫孕酮受体特异结合量。
