科技翻译事业发达是科技先进国家的共同持征。只有通过大量翻译,才能使国外一切先进科学技术,迅速通过我国文字最广泛地植根于我国人民群众之中。力学所许多同志认识到,在完成各自的科研工作之余,积极参加科技翻译工作,是义不容辞的责任。因此于1987年7月份成立了“中国科学院科技翻译工作者协会力学研究所分会”。目前已有70多名会员,大多具有高级职称,有过公开发表的译作,有丰富的笔译、口译经验。语种有英、俄、
The development of science and technology translation is a common indication of advanced countries in science and technology. Only through mass translation can all advanced foreign science and technology rapidly become rooted in the masses of our people through our own writings. Many comrades in mechanics have realized that it is incumbent on them to actively participate in the translation of science and technology while completing their respective scientific research work. Therefore, in July 1987, the Institute of Mechanics and Translators of Chinese Academy of Sciences established the Institute of Mechanics.
