曾有不少关于增强普通硅酸盐水泥的玻璃纤维的报导。其中主要的是耐碱纤维及中碱纤维二类。前者耐碱性能优良。但由于含有较大量的 ZrO_2,其原料成本和熔炼温度都很高,产品价格较贵(见专利 UK-patent1243973),后者为 Na_2-RO-Al_2O_3-SiO_2 型玻璃,虽然成本较前者低些,但耐碱性较差。在玻璃纤维增强的水泥制品的成本中,玻纤所占的比例较大,因此制造成本较低、性能优良的玻璃纤维具有重要的意义。本技术的目的在于提供一种新型玻璃纤维,使它具有良好的化学稳定性和良好的熔炼、拉丝等工艺特性,以及成本较低的玻璃纤维及其制备方法。本技术是通过下列诸方面实施:a.应用尾砂、炉渣等二次资源为主要原料之一。并配用一般玻璃工业用的普通原料。如石英砂、长石、白云石等。这样,既可大大降低原料成本,又能变废为宝。b.选用 R_2O(Na_2O+K_2O)-RO(CaO+MgO)-
