在长期的和平环境中 ,国防教育应置于什么地位 ,应坚持什么样的内容和方向 ,应选择什么样的发展道路等都是影响我国防教育事业发展的重大现实和理论问题。尤其到了 2 0世纪末 ,对这些问题作出明确系统地回答显得更为迫切。江泽民在坚持和继承毛泽东和邓小平国防教育思想的基础上 ,提出了越是在和平时期 ,越是要宣传国防建设的重要意义 ,克服和平麻痹思想 ,增强人民的国防观念 ;坚持以捍卫国家利益、维护世界和平为教育宗旨 ,将爱国主义教育置于国防教育的核心地位上 ;应当把国防教育作为社会的系统工程来建设 ,使其逐步走向社会化、制度化等一系列重要的思想 ,为我们推进国防教育事业提供了重要的理论指导
In the long-term peace environment, what should be the position of national defense education? What kind of content and direction should be adhered to and what kind of development path should be chosen are all major realistic and theoretical issues that affect the development of our country’s anti-education undertaking. Especially by the end of the 20th century, it is even more urgent to give a clear and systematic answer to these questions. On the basis of upholding and inheriting the ideology of national defense education made by Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin pointed out that the more we must do in peacetime, the more we should publicize the significance of national defense construction, overcome the idea of peace and paralyze our thinking and enhance our people’s concept of national defense. In order to safeguard our national interests, Safeguarding world peace as its educational goal and putting patriotism education at the core of national defense education.
