Italian newspaper Evening Post published an article titled “What is the Progress of New Scientific Research” published on July 20, 1977: The Advisory Board of the Italian National Research Association recently held a plenary meeting in Rome to educate the National Research Association Some hundreds of researchers from universities and enterprises made a tentative summary of eighteen “orientation research programs” that they started in 1976. Targeted scientific research plans were commissioned by the Inter-ministerial Committee of the Economic Plan for the National Research Association in order to guide researchers and technicians directly to the economic and social realities of Italy
