改革开放以来，南京市的高新技术产业发展取得了一定成就，培育了一批重点高新技术产品群，高新区建设成就斐然，民营科技企业异军突起，高新技术产业在国民经济中的战略主导地位初步确立。但另一方面，南京高新技术产业也在总体规模、技术水平、科技人才、国际化等方面存在一系列问题。本报告在调查分析的基础上，提出了发展南京高新技术产业的对策建议。
Since the reform and opening up, some achievements have been made in the development of high-tech industries in Nanjing. A number of key high-tech product clusters have been fostered. The achievements in the construction of high-tech zones have splendid achievements. The emergence of non-governmental scientific and technological enterprises has emerged. The strategic dominance of high-tech industries in the national economy has been initially established . However, on the other hand, Nanjing’s high-tech industry is also facing a series of problems in terms of its overall size, technological level, scientific and technological personnel, and internationalization. Based on the investigation and analysis, this report puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions for the development of high-tech industry in Nanjing.
