对桂北农村五个点作脑血管病流调,发现北部两点居民长年有“煮火锅”边吃边添菜、油、盐的饮食习惯,人均月耗食盐、猪肉量,饮酒人数、血压超标人数和脑血管病的患、发病率、死亡率均高于饮食习惯不同的南部两点居民。中部调查点饮食和脑血管病情况则介乎南北之间,经统计学相关性测验,发现食盐、猪肉消耗量、饮酒人数、血压超标人数与脑血管的患、发病率呈显著性的正相关.
