高中语文课本第-册(人民教育出版社编辑出版)第20页上注解的原文是:“虽然有人想阻止水上的进军,封锁以千寻的横江铁链,但终于抵挡不住王浚的楼船--公元280年,晋朝大将王浚从四川乘楼船沿江而下,进攻吴国。吴国人在湖北西部秭归、西陵(在现在湖北省宜昌县)间长江要害处用铁链横江封锁,阻挡楼船。主浚的军队乘大筏用火烧断铁链顺流而东,直抵石头城(现在的南京)下,终于灭了吴国。……”
