医学研究所在前中央研究院内,除了药学研究所外,算是历史最短的一所了。虽然如此,它经歷的变迁倒也不少。短短的五年多当中,从重庆歌乐山到上海枫林桥,从空无所有到粗具规模,这其间可以说医学研究所始终是在挣扎前进。在解放前,这种努力是孤独的,得不到当局的支持;解放後是绝对不同了,医学研究所,正如所有的科学研究机构一样,得到了人民政府充分的支持。现在,我把医学研究所自解放以来的各方面,试作一简略的叙述。
Medical Research Institute in the former Central Research Institute, in addition to the Institute of Pharmacy, regarded as the history of the shortest one. Nonetheless, it has undergone many changes. In a short period of more than five years, from Geleshan in Chongqing to Maple Bridge in Shanghai, from nothing to grossness, we can say that the Institute of Medical Research is always struggling. Before liberation, such efforts were lonely and could not be supported by the authorities. After the liberation, this was absolutely different. The medical institute, like all scientific research institutes, has the full support of the people’s government. Now, let me make a brief account of all aspects of the Institute of Medicine since liberation.
