冷轧辊常用GCr15、9CrSi钢制造,辊身要求HRC60以上,硬度均匀性±1.5HRC。φ100mm以上的冷轧辊须水冷,方可达到热处理技术要求。据报道,45钢水冷淬火时,形成裂纹的最大几率出现在冷速2000℃/s附近,大于或小于这个冷速都不易开裂。另外,影响开裂的最主要因素还有冷却的均匀性,因此,应均匀快速冷却。冷轧辊几何尺寸简单,形状对称,因此无论直径大小采用水冷淬火都是可行的。水中停留时间是决定淬火质量的关键。
