我院一号小高炉于今年“七一”投入生产,第一代用冷风操作,第二代起增建了一个简易的换热式热风窑。第一、二两代的寿命和生产指标都不算好。第一代只生产11日,共产生铁约7吨,第二代生产21日共产铁约16吨。第二代主要因为砌炉没有按设计施工,炉缸外壳砌小了,后因炉腹烧穿被迫停炉。第三代没有增加任何设备,只是环风管、风咀等部件有些改进,但由于炉型设计更合理,操作摸到了门路,生产大大好转,炉体比过去结实,估计寿命要长很多。9月10日开炉,第三日就创造了生产灰口生铁利用
