高速钢刀具氮氧共渗是近几年才开展起来的化学热处理新工艺。该工艺在水蒸汽和活性氮原子的气氛中进行。其特点是在共渗温度、气氛下,使刀具表面生成一层抗咬合、减磨、耐腐蚀、呈蓝灰色的 Fe_3O_4氧化层;在这层的里面,得到高硬度、耐磨的氮化层。实践证明:氮氧共渗,能显著地提高高速钢刀具的使用寿命,并能增强其防锈性能,无明显脆性。此外,这一工艺还具有设备、工艺简单,操作简便、时间短、安全、无公害、成本低等优点。是提高高速钢刀具使用寿命效果显著的工艺方法之一,具有推广的实用价值。
