改革开放以来,随着色会经济发展水平越来越高,我国的旅游业也随之发展得越来越快。各高校的旅游管理类专业的学生在获得良好的职业发展前景的同时,也面临着就业竞争压力大的问题。为了促进企业的长期发展,旅游单位在挑选职员的时候,不仅会考虑到毕业生的专业知识与技能,更多地也会侧重于毕业生的实际操作能力,也就是说旅游企业需要的是全面发展的应用型人才。针对这一现状,旅游管理类学生在学习更多专业知识的同时,必须要注重培养自身的实践能力和创新精神,以更好地适应旅游市场的人才需求,从而为自己争取更好的就业机会。
