电视剧《信访局长》向观众展现了一个知道但并不熟悉的领域,通过以钟军为代表的信访工作者一心为群众排忧解难、妥善处理一系列棘手社会问题的感人故事,表现了信访工作的复杂与艰难,让人们对沟通政府与群众的桥梁纽带、维护社会和谐稳定大局具有重要作用的信访工作,有了进一步的了解,凸显出新时期信访干部良好的精神境界和时代风貌。该剧在中央电视台电视剧频道播出后,引发观众热议。不久前,中国电视艺术委员会在京举行了该剧专家研讨会。
