野银自杏又称银白杏,是我县杏的早熟品种之一。该品种在锦西有一百多年栽培历史,由于品质好,上市早,一九八一年在辽宁省第一次品种鉴评会上,被评为优良品种第四名。现在全县有银白杏六千一百八十六株,年平均产量二十万斤左右。特性特征银白杏果实扁圆形,顶钝,平均单果重三○点四克,最大三十五点一克。缝合线明显,两侧对称,梗洼深广,果肉白色,阳面带红晕。果汁多,纤维少,味酸甜,可溶性固形物含量为百分之十五点一。离核,仁苦,六月上中旬成熟。树势中庸健壮,树冠高大,抗旱耐寒,可在山坡荒地栽培,也适于庭院种植。栽培要点(一)选甩壮苗、大苗。可用山杏做砧木,自育自栽。(二)栽前修梯田,挖好栽植坑。坑宽深
