口语交际是一种教学策略和方式,是听话、说话能力在实际交往中的应用。孔子说:“工欲善其事,必先利其器。”善于言说,就是一种促使事业成功的得力之“器”。职业教育以培养职业能力为本位,在教学中,语文教师要重视学生口语交际能力的培养,使学生掌握口语交际的基本技能,养成良好的口语交际习惯,以适应从业的需求。《中等职业学校语文教学大纲(试行)》中指出,中等职业学校语文的教学目标之一是:在初中语文的基础上,通过课内外的教学活动,使学生进一步巩固和扩展必需的语文基础知识,进一步提高现代文阅读能力、写作能力和口语交际能力。依据中等职业学校学生的专业实际需要和市场调查的反馈,中等职业学校的学生在语文课上应培养的主要能力之一就是口语交际能力。目前的中等职业学校语文教学,都能把口语教学当成语文能力训练的一个环节,但其体系并不完善,缺乏合理的梯度,内容也不完整,训练时间得不到保证,教学中充其量只是简单地涉及。这样的结果使得口语基础本身就不牢固的中等职业学校学生在两年的语文学习后仍难以应付一般的求职面试。因此,在以后的语文教学中,加强对学生的口语训练显得尤为重要。
