在IMT - 2 0 0 0标准化进程中 ,第 3代 (3G)移动通信技术和系统的开发成为移动通信的最热门话题。其中建立在软件无线电平台上的无线移动ATM (WMATM)的发展引人瞩目。它构建了一个宽带无线通道 ,IPoverWMATM对无线工业开放了支持各种空中接口的信令组。文中展示了可实现的用IPoverWMATM解决 3G宽带无线移动通信系统的方案 ,包括 WMATM媒体接入控制 (MAC)的设计、协议堆栈、WMATM模块定义、软件无线电平台、IP和 3G无线网络的结合。
In the IMT-2000 standardization process, the development of 3G mobile communication technologies and systems has become the hot topic of mobile communications. Among them, the development of Wireless Mobile ATM (WMATM) based on the software radio platform has drawn much attention. It builds a broadband wireless channel, and IPoverWMATM opens up the wireless industry with signaling groups that support a wide range of air interfaces. The article shows a possible solution to the 3G over-the-air wireless mobile communication system with IP overWMATM, including WMATM media access control (MAC) design, protocol stack, WMATM module definition, software radio platform, and a combination of IP and 3G wireless networks.
