In 2013, Hunan Provincial Department of Transportation will steadily push forward the reconstruction of the dangerous bridges in the province in accordance with the plan for the reconstruction of dangerous bridges and will focus on the reconstruction of the heavily damaged bridges in China’s major cities and plans to restart 1 154 dangerous bridges in reconstruction. According to statistics, from 2011 to 2012, a total of 1 474 dangerous bridges were implemented in the province. Among them, there are 76 dangerous bridges across the country and 1 398 dangerous rural roads
