夏季是兰花在一年中生长最兴旺的时期,但霉雨时节,闷热高湿,病虫害会给兰花带来很大威胁。如果温度超过30℃,还会迫使兰花处于休眠状态,滞缓生长,再加上台风暴雨的频繁袭击,形势极为不利。如何采取有效措施,趋利避害,防患未然,对兰花的茁壮生长至关重要。遮荫降温夏季日照强烈,兰花在烈日下会被灼伤甚至被晒死,可用遮荫网或竹帘遮去60～70%的阳光。遮荫网最好采用灵活的双层装置,在初夏或早晨遮一层,在盛夏或中午遮双层。也可种些藤本植物或树木遮荫。
