“我的剧本表現了古巴人民斗爭的萌芽,同时也宣告了古巴人民斗爭的現状。”当我們怀着浓厚的兴趣讀完剧本《甘蔗田》(剧本譯文发表在《剧本》月刊今年7、8月号合刊)之后,对剧作者巴格·阿尔丰索在《致中国讀者》一文中的这两句自白。感到格外的亲切。的确,这个曾經获得古巴全国戏剧一等奖的优秀剧本,不仅帮助我們认識古巴人民昨天的艰苦斗爭,而且帮助我們进一步理解古巴人民今天的伟大胜利。讀了这个剧本,我們就更懂得为什么英勇的古巴人民能够終于打碎独裁統治的枷鎖,战胜近在咫尺的美国强盗,成为拉丁美洲反对美帝国主义斗爭的光輝旗帜。作者把戏剧的場景安排在甘蔗田里,看来是有着深刻的涵义的。古巴全国百分之五十六的耕地都种植甘蔗,很大一部分古巴人民世代生活和劳动在甘蔗田里。戏剧情节在
“My script shows the germ of the Cuban people’s struggle and at the same time proclaims the status quo of the Cuban people’s struggle.” When we read the script “Sugar Cane Field” with a strong interest (the script is published in the “Script” Month issue of the issue), the author of the play Bagh Alphonso in “To Chinese readers,” a text of these two confession. Feel particularly warm. Indeed, this outstanding script, which won the First Prize of the Cuban National Drama, not only helps us recognize the hard-fought struggle of the Cuban people yesterday, but also helps us to further understand the great victory of the Cuban people today. After reading this script, we know more why the brave Cuban people finally shattered the yoke of dictatorship and defeated the American bandits in their own right, becoming the glorious banner of Latin American opposition to the US imperialist struggle. The author arranges the scene of the drama in the sugarcane field, which seems to have a profound meaning. Fifty-six per cent of Cuba’s cultivated land is planted with sugarcane, and a significant portion of Cuban people live and work in the sugar cane fields from generation to generation. Drama plot in
