Iwas bo in a family of ordinary workers in Kaifeng, Henan Province.My father loved painting from a very early age.Although the Cultural Revolution (1966-76) prevented him from going further, he persisted in painting in the off-work hours.Influenced by him, I also took to loving painting,showing the natural endowment when a child.My neighbors were full of praises.My father devoted all his energy to teaching me in the hope that I would become a famous painter.At the age of six, my father invited Prof.Yao Jianyu of the Henan University to teach me how to paint.
