由雷菊芳一手创立并任董事长的奇正藏药集团是以继承、开发藏药为宗旨的民营高科技企业,前身为甘肃奇正藏药有限公司,成立于1993年8月18日,数年来奇正藏药坚持扎根于青藏高原,坚持汉藏文化的融合,坚持现代技术与传统藏药的结合,坚持发展藏区经济与环境保护相统一的发展道路,在世界第一大峡谷所在地的藏东南药洲米林建立了万亩天然药材保护区,在西藏林芝和甘肃省甘南建有两座符合GMP标准的药厂,拥有500余名员工,其中具有高等学历者243人,占职工总数43％,并与中国科学院化物所联合建立有国内第一家“藏药与天然药物联合实验室”,是西藏自治区20家纳税大户之一,目前企业总资产3亿元,在甘肃民营科技企业中名列第一。
