颖泉区1996年9月开始对特需人群开展了服用碘油丸工作。某镇于10月10日上午开始服用了武汉生产的碘油丸,因缺乏服药前对学生和家长的宣传工作,正确掌握副作用,服药后又不能及时向学生及家长讲解其知识,以致在服药当天部分学生出现了服药反应,没有给予正确的指导而被送进了医院。后经积极处理,所去医院学生才于当晚回家。
