民间美术是一种由劳动人民在生活与劳动中创造的艺术,其作品绝大多数直接以美化自身、生活物品与生存环境为主要内容,它发端于生活,为劳动者所创造,又满足于生活,为劳动者所享用。就其多数来说,是直接用来美化自身、美化物品和美化生活环境的,因而也就带有强烈的民族性和地方性色彩,表现出劳动者的质朴和审美
Folk art is a kind of art created by working people in life and work. The vast majority of the works directly beautify themselves, living objects and living environment as the main content.
