壁厚为5—40mm壳体件中的球状石墨是在型内用含4.5—6%Mg的无钙中间合金变质得到的。用粉碎成1—10mm的部分变质剂和大部分中间合金揽拌,以稳定其中的Mg、Si含量。这样制备后,得到的中间合金含5-5.3%Mg和54-56%Si。准备好的中间合金放入下型沿浇注系统流程设置的反应室内。在酸性炉衬的6号电弧炉内熔炼铁水,随后在感应加热的保温包内均匀化学成分。在1380~1420℃时,用成分,(%) 3.4-3.6C,2.2—2.4Si、0.2—0.5Mn、<0.15Cr、<0.1P、<0.03S的铁水浇注成型。
