The Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture of Jilin Province, which is adjacent to the Soviet Union and North Korea, is known as the “Golden Triangle” of the Northeast. Since the reform and opening up, this once-closed “Golden Triangle” has opened the door and become a new hot spot for domestic and foreign investment and import trade.
