The first 300t/a chlorinated polyether production plant in China designed by the Ministry of Chemical Industry and Shenyang Institute of Chemical Technology was completed and put into production at the Hengli Engineering Plastics Factory in Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province. The production of chlorinated polyether resin has been achieved. The United States Hercules resin quality standards, to fill the gaps in the country. This technology won the second prize for scientific and technological progress in the Ministry of Chemical Industry in 1995. Chlorinated polyether is a new-type engineering plastic with high-tech content and high added value, and it has a broad application prospect in the national economic construction. This product has excellent chemical resistance.
