在英汉翻译中,典故的处理是一个难点。本文从信息论角度探讨了英汉典故的翻译标准和方法,认为文化冗余的处理是关键问题。
In the English-Chinese translation, the handling of allusions is a difficult task. This paper discusses the translation criteria and methods of allusions in English and Chinese from the perspective of information theory and holds that the handling of cultural redundancy is the key issue.
